Our Story
Since a little boy the owner of Hobbs Homes, Tyler Hobbs, loved to build. Whether with Legos, in a sandbox, or watching a dozer for hours carve out for a foundation, Tyler was enamored with creating something out of nothing. Growing up, summer months were spend working in residential construction with family. Over the years, that background and passion for creating and building came to fruition with new construction home and home rehabs while working a full-time job. In 2017, Tyler decided to move into real estate redevelopment and rehab full time, creating Hobbs Homes. Although a newer business, Hobbs Homes has the real estate and construction knowledge and experience of many years.
Hobbs Homes also has a heart for the local community, developed from its owner’s own compassion. Tyler is an active member in Whitewater Church and has helped out with the church’s partnership with foster kid families. Hobbs Homes has recently partnered with the Helping Hand House to provide work when needed, as well as donating 5% of their net proceeds for each project. The main reason behind helping this nonprofit is the mission and compassion of each and every employee working there. You can find more about them and what they do at www.helpinghandhouse.org
Moving forward, Hobbs Homes looks to continue to add value its community and stakeholders through every project. We want to be able to help people out of unwanted housing situations, create homes that benefit the community, and continue to support organizations that help out those with even greater needs. We are always looking for new projects, so if you, or someone you know, is looking for a no hassle sale, please reach out to us!
